CEO Sings for GF Kids 2017 Gets Mumbai Swaying to its Tunes



With the aim to help critically ill under-privileged children with heart disorders, Genesis Foundation invited corporate leaders from across the spectrum of industries to come together and help raise funds for the cause.
Music brings joy to everyone, and through this event, the Foundation’s aim has always been to make ‘giving’ joyous. Taking time out from their busy schedules, the CEOs’ participation sends a strong message of love and harmony through the universally favourite medium of music, even as it raises awareness and funds to support the cause. What made this edition even more special was that one of the closest and most dedicated supporters of Genesis Foundation, YM Deosthalee, Past Chairman, L&T Finance Holdings, played the host for the evening.


The evening began on a rocking note with Daniel Weber, who sang his original number, Set Me Free. He was followed by Vinodini Lulla, who sang the popular Hindi song Dil Hai Chhota Sa, as a message of hope for the children supported by the Foundation. The amazing performances by Mr. Hitesh Gajaria and Mr. Ramesh Iyer, Vice-Chairman, MD & President, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. on the Bollywood numbers set the tone for the night while performances by Mr. Vinit Store  and Mr. Kerman Lalkaka, GM, ITC, Grand Central, Mumbai mesmerised everyone. The gala event hit crescendo at the end with an amazing line up of singers like Mr. Mehmood Curmally, CEO, JnY Entertainment, Mr. Dinesh Mirchandani, Managing Partner, Boyden, Mr. Atul Ahuja, President, Learning Palm playing, Mr. Dennis Taraporewala, Managing Director, Criesse Communications singing some memorable numbers.
